WRN continues to bring the community and community groups together with our 16th Nonviolence Day in the Park – a time for fun, as well as to recognize the many positive forces in Waterloo Region.

This year’s event will be taking place during Stage 3 of the COVID 19 Recovery Plan, as per the Region of Waterloo’s social gathering requirements.

The event features community group displays, vendors, music, art, children`s activities. 500 Nonviolence Day in the Park programs will be distributed 1 month before the September 26 event date to local businesses, as well as to visitors at the event. All activities of the Nonviolence Festival are organized by volunteers and funding of events come solely from ad revenues of local businesses and donations. Your ad in the Nonviolence Day in the Park program will help promote nonviolence in our community.

The 16th Nonviolence Day in the Park is scheduled for Saturday September 26, noon to 5pm on Roos Island, Victoria Park, Kitchener.

WRN | Waterloo Region NonviolenceJoin us for the the 16th Annual Nonviolence Day In The Park on Roos Island in Victoria Park! We’ll be practicing safe distancing. Masks are welcome! Let’s be safe.

There will be games, music, info booths from community groups, local arts and crafts vendors, spiritual and well-being exhibitions, and so much more.

If you belong to a community group or organization that follows the principles of Nonviolence please join us as an exhibitor! No charge for non-profit organizations! $30 for businesses, or organization selling things.
