Join us for an inclusive evening with a panel presentation, group discussion, and personal action to achieve nonviolent solutions for people living a life of poverty.
This Viewpoints forum tries to bring the perspectives of a person with experience living a life of poverty, a facilitator working in the field, an academic, and a policy maker.
There will be a Question and Answer session after the panel presentation, then we will break into groups with each panelist to discuss common themes and solutions. A spokesperson from each group will then report back to everyone.

Planning A Positive Way Forward
Everyone is invited to contribute their experiences, dreams, and unique perspectives.
Every year we have a workshop to prepare for the annual Nonviolence Day In The Park. We’ll clean the kids’ games, update directional signs, paint banners, and create toy prizes for the kids’ games participants.
Come join us — there’ll be a potluck supper at the end, so bring something to share. For the benefit of all, please label your potluck dish if it contains nuts, wheat, eggs, dairy, or meat.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for directions to the WR Nonviolence Headquarters.
At this week’s regular meeting we’re having a follow-up with participants from the Viewpoints on Poverty forum.
We’ll discuss the actions each of us can take to address the issues raised during the forum.
This meeting is open to everyone who wants to work on nonviolent solutions for poverty elimination!
