The topic is “Democracy”. Here are a few questions to consider:

1) How do other people define Democracy? Matt knows what he means, but others may have different ideas. Let’s create a definition of Democracy in the context of our definition of Nonviolence (where Violence is the objectification of people).

2) Relate Nonviolence and Democracy to current events — there’s a provincial election coming up. How are elections Violent? What can be done to overcome this?

3) Will the Democratic process support a party that would change the monetary system?

4) How does Democracy protect Democracy? eg. Term extensions — How can Democracy prevent a democratically elected leader from increasing his term of office indefinitely?
