Due to logistical difficulties in booking the Rotunda at Kitchener City Hall, there will be no event this year for MLK Day.
Since 2008 the Nonviolence Festival had been hosting a yearly celebration of the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. on MLK Day, the third Monday in January. WR Nonviolence had hoped to continue this tradition.
For the first time in years, we’ll be skipping our regular meeting at the Queen Street Commons Cafe this coming Tuesday, 26 December 2017. Holiday season, you know!
Join us again next week, Tuesday, 2 January 2018 and every Tuesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at QSC to discuss the week’s issues in the world, and to help plan upcoming activities to promote the practice of nonviolence in our community.
a dialogue about the fundamental factors of our economy
